The history of Cosearching

The project was born in 2019 at the initiative of Actiris within the framework of the “Maisons de l’emploi” scheme, in collaboration with 3 actors who are experts in collective intelligence: Activ’action, Cocorico-searching and Divers gens. The objective was to develop an innovative method that could counteract the logics of competition and the risks of isolation of job seekers by setting up autonomous self-help groups.

In 2020, Backstage.Network joins the project by developing a cosearching space on its digital platform dedicated to the inspiration of job seekers.

In 2021, Cosearching.brussels will become an independent project with the mission of stimulating a community of job seekers. Our ambition is to integrate mutual aid as an essential tool in the professional integration path of job seekers.
